Présentation

A conference jointly organised by the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law and the Federal Office for Housing on the legal and regulatory challenges raised by short-term rentals in Switzerland, with a focus on:
- planning and tourism regulation
- rental law 
- consumer protection
- data protection
- approaches to regulation in foreign cities

Join us in Bern on 22 November to learn more about the latest developments in Switzerland and abroad in this rapidly changing area. This full-day conference, jointly organised by the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law and the Federal Office for Housing, will take a closer look at the private and public law issues facing planning authorities, the tourist industry, lawyers and property owners in light of the growing popularity of AirBnB and other short-term rental digital platforms.
